Make Your Own Silver Jewellery – Christmas Special
Get into the festive spirit with a creative Christmas jewellery workshop! This beginner-friendly class is a magical introduction to silver metal clay — a material that transforms from soft clay into solid silver right before your eyes.
In this special Christmas edition, you’ll design and make your own silver jewellery — a pendant, a pair of earrings, or a couple of small pieces — with a festive twist. Think snowflakes, Christmas trees, or your own seasonal designs. It’s the perfect way to add a handmade touch to your holiday sparkle (or make a thoughtful gift for someone special).
No experience needed — just come along, get cosy in our Brighton studio, and enjoy a couple of relaxed, creative hours making something beautiful by hand.
What to expect
You’ll be welcomed into our bright, friendly studio near the beach, where your expert tutor will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your silver pieces — with a touch of festive cheer (and plenty of tea, coffee and mince pies!).
You’ll learn how to:
• Shape and mould the clay using simple tools
• Add textures and details to personalise your design
• Torch or kiln fire your pieces to transform them into solid silver
• Polish and finish them so they’re ready to wear or gift
Metal clay is made from recycled silver (often sourced from things like X-rays and photographs), combined with water and an organic binder. Once fired, the binder burns away, leaving you with real silver of hallmark quality.
You’ll finish your pieces in the class and head home with beautiful handmade jewellery — ready to wrap up or show off under the fairy lights.
