By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a portfolio of fine jewellery to showcase, the confidence to take on bespoke commissions, and the tools to begin selling at the fine jewellery level. WHO IS THE Intensive DIPLOMA IN fine JEWELLERY FOR?

This course is for jewellers confident in silver who are ready to step into fine jewellery. You’ll learn to work in gold, master advanced stone-setting, and create more ambitious designs, all with focused, expert guidance.

It’s ideal for building a portfolio of higher-value pieces and taking on bespoke commissions. Many students join after the Diploma in Silver Jewellery, but experience gained elsewhere is equally welcome. If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, we can advise on preparatory classes or private tuition.

Perfect for those who thrive in immersive, intensive learning, this course suits anyone eager to dedicate themselves fully to developing their skills. Our intensives are popular with overseas students and offer the chance to train in Brighton, one of the UK’s most creative cities.

Delivered by practising fine jewellers, this course gives you the practical skills and confidence to step into the fine jewellery world.

COURSE DATES

We will be running this course twice in 2026. Both of these courses follow on from the Intensive Diploma in Silver Jewellery, so it is possible to do both intensives consecutively.

MARCH 2026:

Please note: The curriculum is subject to change along with developments in the school programme.  

what’s included?

Included in the cost of this course are all your essential materials to make your items throughout the year. Unlike other courses we include materials such as silver, gold and gemstones (approx. value £1,200)  

  • 28 Teaching days, 7 supported workbench days and 1 marking day

  • 1-2-1 mentorship with a tutor 

  • A mini-professional photoshoot for your work at the end of the course (worth approx. £350)  

  • A completed Diploma certificate and badge on successful completion of the programme.
