Fast-track your jewellery making skills with this intensive seven-week diploma that takes you from beginner to confident silver jeweller in record time.
The course is taught full-time, Monday to Friday, for seven weeks, and you’ll spend every day immersed in the craft — learning to work with silver, gold, gemstones, and a wide range of professional techniques.
By the end, you’ll have the skills, confidence, and finished pieces to launch or grow your own jewellery business, all in a supportive, fully equipped Brighton studio.

start your CAREER IN JEWELLERY
This course is designed to take you from complete beginner to professional jeweller in just 7 weeks. You will be able to create pieces that have commercial value, so you can begin a career in jewellery or launch your own jewellery business (if that’s what you want to do!).
Many of our previous Diploma students have taken this route and have built thriving businesses or have gone on to work in the jewellery trade for other companies.
There are many options for your future which we cover as part of the training in this course.
WHO IS THE DIPLOMA IN SILVER JEWELLERY FOR?
This course is aimed at beginner or intermediate level jewellers who want a full and intensive training in silver jewellery making skills in order to launch or develop a jewellery business, for personal development or in order to work in the jewellery trade.
Unlike other courses we focus on how you can build a profitable jewellery business yourself, with accompanying business support to help develop your business skills alongside your making skills. All of our tutors are active jewellers with experience working in the trade to share.
This course is specifically designed for those who want an intensive and fully immersive learning experience.

10 Teaching days, 1 workbench day and 1 marking day per term
1-2-1 mentorship with a tutor
A mini-professional photoshoot for your work at the end of the year (worth approx. £350)
An end of year exhibition at the school in Brighton to showcase your achievements
