Learn how to create pieces that move and interact!
This course focuses on cold connection techniques, giving you the skills to add motion, contrast, and playful details to your jewellery.
You’ll practise riveting and hinges, making a riveted pendant and a hinged “book” pendant as part of your exercises. Both techniques allow parts of your piece to move independently, and they also let you combine metals with materials that can’t be heated—like glass, fabric, stones, shells, and more.
By the end, you’ll have a strong foundation in cold connections and the confidence to use these techniques in your own creative jewellery designs.
Perfect for makers who want to expand their technical skills and bring dynamic movement into their work.
