It’s a relaxed, hands-on experience where you’ll learn traditional techniques, work side-by-side at the bench, and leave with rings that you’ve made together.

A Wedding Ring Experience
You’ll spend the day working side by side at the jeweller’s bench, guided by a professional jeweller who will show you each step of the process. You’ll learn traditional techniques, use professional tools, and slowly shape precious metal into rings that you’ll wear for the rest of your lives.
There’s something really powerful about taking raw material and turning it into a symbol of your commitment. The textures you choose, the tiny marks left by hand, and the decisions you make together all become part of the finished rings.
You don’t need any jewellery experience at all. We’ll guide you gently throughout the day, so you can relax, enjoy the process, and focus on creating something meaningful together.
Your free consultation
Every couple begins with a free one-hour consultation, at least two weeks before the ring-making day.
We’ll:
Talk through your ideas and inspirations
Try on sample rings in different widths and sizes
Explore metal options and finishes
Consider how your wedding ring will sit with an engagement ring
Give clear guidance on costs, timelines and options
It’s relaxed, friendly and completely no-pressure. After your consultation we will order the materials needed for your ring-making day.
Your wedding ring making day
You’ll spend one full day in our Brighton studio, guided by an experienced jeweller.
Most couples:
Start by making silver practice rings in the morning
Learn the techniques and build confidence
Then move on to creating their final rings in their chosen metal
You’ll be supported every step of the way, using professional tools and traditional methods.

Our studio is based in Brighton, a creative seaside city that’s perfect for slowing down together. After a day at the bench, you can wander the Lanes, walk along the beach, and enjoy a celebratory meal by the sea.
Brighton is easy to reach by train and makes a beautiful backdrop for one of your favourite pre-wedding memories. Our studio is central and very easy to reach.

£375 per day (includes expert tuition, tools and studio time)
Materials are charged separately depending on your preferences
Typical material costs
As a guide, a classic wedding band usually costs around:
Silver wedding ring: £100
9ct gold wedding ring: £400
18ct gold wedding ring: £1000
We’ll always give clear quotes in advance and talk you through your options.
If you’re drawn to organic textures or sculptural forms, we can make your rings in wax and have them cast into the metal of your choice. This is ideal for expressive, one-of-a-kind designs.
The finishing touches
In addition to your consulation and experience day, your wedding ring package includes:
A celebratory bottle of bubbly

Hallmarking of your finished rings

FAQs: Wedding Ring Making

No experience is needed at all. Our wedding ring making experience is designed for complete beginners and you’ll be guided step by step by a professional jeweller throughout the day.

The experience takes one full day in the studio, plus a free one-hour consultation beforehand to plan your designs and materials. The consultation is best done in person if you can so you can try on samples, but if you are travelling from further afield we can arrange a Zoom call.

Yes, absolutely. Many couples choose different widths, finishes or even different metals. Your rings don’t need to match unless you want them to.

The experience costs £375 per day. Materials are charged separately and depend on your chosen metal and design. We’ll always give you a clear quote in advance so there are no surprises.

We work with silver and gold (including 9ct and 18ct) and can discuss other metal choices. If you’re interested in more unusual designs, rings can be made in wax and then cast into metal.
We don’t currently work with platinum or palladium in-house, but we’re happy to advise on alternatives.

We will send your finished rings off to be hallmarked correctly and legally. This is included in the cost of your experience.

Yes, in many cases. Engagement rings are usually made as a separate, one-to-one experience. Get in touch to discuss what’s possible and whether it’s the right fit for you.
