Spend a few relaxed, creative hours in our beautiful Brighton studio and learn to make your own beautiful set of stacking silver rings. No previous experience needed!

In this hands-on taster class, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of measuring, shaping, soldering and polishing sterling silver to create a small stack of rings that you’ll finish and take home the same day.

It’s a lovely way to try something new, whether you're visiting Brighton, gifting an experience to someone, or treating yourself to some time away from the usual routine.

What to expect

You’ll be welcomed into our light-filled studio, just a couple of moments from the beach. After a short introduction to the tools and materials, your tutor will guide you through:

• Measuring your ring size
• Shaping and soldering sterling silver wire
• Exploring different finishes, like polished, hammered and twisted
• Polishing and finishing your rings so they’re ready to wear

Most people make three to four rings during the session. There’s a range of wire styles to choose from, depending on your style. You can make your set of rings match or mix them up completely.

Our studio is centrally located on Middle Street, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and next to The Lanes (an area of Brighton that is full of independent shops and places to eat). So if you are visiting Brighton for the day, this taster class will fit neatly into your plans and you can begin or end your day exploring everything that Brighton has to offer.

Who it’s for

This class is made for beginners and is open to everyone! You don't need to have made any jewellery before. You will be taught by an experienced jeweller who will guide you through the full process of making your rings.

You might be a little crafty, someone who loves jewellery, or simply curious about making something by hand. It’s relaxed, friendly, and a fun way to spend a morning or evening in creative company.

You’ll have access to all the tools and materials you need, and we’ll have the kettle on with plenty of tea, coffee and snacks to keep you going.
