Sterling Silver Trinket Box - 2 Days

Creating a sterling silver trinket box is a great way to improve your jewellery and basic silversmithing skills. Join us in this 2 day intermediate level course.

You will learn how to create a small round trinket box in 2 days! This course is two consecutive days from the course date.

The skills you will learn are:

• Metal measurements

• To anneal, form and solder the sides of the top and bottom

• Solder the bottom sided to base

• Prep and solder the rim

• Dome prep and solder the lid to the top side

• File, clean and polish

• Add a decorative element

• Testing the fit

It is important that students have already taken the Beginners Silver Jewellery 1/2/3 class, the Soldering masterclass and Polishing & Finishing Masterclass as this is quite an advanced project.

What you need to bring to this class:

For this class, you don't need to bring anything but yourself as everything is provided.

General Info:

As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea, coffee and snacks! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 8.

We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
