Make Your Own Silver Jewellery – Valentine’s & Galentine’s Special
Celebrate Valentine’s or Galentine’s with a creative jewellery-making experience and make something truly meaningful by hand. This beginner-friendly workshop is a lovely introduction to silver metal clay, a magical material that transforms from soft clay into solid silver right before your eyes.
In this special Valentine’s & Galentine’s edition, you’ll design and make your own silver jewellery. Choose from a pendant, a pair of earrings, or a couple of small pieces. Think hearts, initials, subtle textures or something totally personal. Perfect as a thoughtful gift for someone you love, a Galentine’s keepsake with your bestie, or a little treat just for you.
No experience needed at all. Just come along to our Brighton studio, slow down for a couple of relaxed, creative hours, and enjoy making something beautiful together.
What to expect
You’ll be welcomed into our bright, friendly studio near the beach, where your expert tutor will guide you step by step through the whole process in a relaxed and supportive way. Expect plenty of tea, coffee and good vibes.
You’ll learn how to:
• Shape and mould silver metal clay using simple tools
• Add texture and details to personalise your design
• Torch or kiln fire your pieces to transform them into solid silver
• Polish and finish your jewellery so it’s ready to wear or gift
Silver metal clay is made from recycled silver (often sourced from things like X-rays and photographs), mixed with water and an organic binder. Once fired, the binder burns away, leaving you with real, hallmark-quality silver.
You’ll finish your jewellery during the class and head home with a beautiful handmade piece to wear, gift or treasure.
