Whether you want to make bespoke jewellery for your own wedding, or you’re looking to get into the lucrative wedding jewellery business, this 3 day intensive course is perfect.
Covering tiara making, beaded combs and hair grips, as well as wedding jewellery, you’ll work with crystals and pearls to create your own unique designs. This course is ideal for complete beginners or those with some experience who want to expand their jewellery making skills.
What is covered?
Day 1 – Tiara Making
Learn to make your own tiaras from scratch, including bespoke wire headbands, using wire, pearls, crystals and beads. You’ll make your own bands, learn a range of component-making techniques, and leave with a finished tiara. You’ll also cover combs and hair accessories to match your tiara.
Day 2 – Further Tiara Making and Hair combs
Day two takes your tiara making skills to the next level. You’ll make two tiaras:
The first uses a combination of brass components and Swarovski crystals to create a beautiful, professional piece using more complex techniques that build on day one.
The second incorporates fabric flowers, which you’ll learn to make from scratch, combined with wire to create a very current and fashionable tiara for the modern bride.
Day 3 – Wedding Jewellery
On the final day you’ll learn to make a full range of wedding jewellery, whether for yourself, a friend, or as a new business idea. You’ll create bracelets, earrings, necklaces and more using Swarovski crystals, pearls, beads and wire.
