Metal clay is a clay-like substance made of silver recycled from X-rays and photographs, an organic binder and some water. It can be moulded and shaped like clay and can be fired with a torch (a creme brule torch will do!) or in a kiln all of the binder burns away and you are left with solid silver - it's like magic! The silver left is real silver and is of hallmark quality.
This class is a great introduction to working with metal clay and is great value as you will have a pendant to take home with you.
An expert tutor will guide you through the whole process from making the piece, through to firing and polishing.
Absolutely no experience is necessary as this is a beginners level class and complete beginners are welcome.
